Peacefully in her sleep at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Thursday March 20th, 2014 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Eddy Caterer of Big Bay Point. Dear mother of Karen Saunders. Proud grandmother of Laura (Leo LeBlanc) and great grandmother of Jordan, Ashley, Matthew and Joshua. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie on Wednesday March 26, 2014 from 12pm. until the time we celebrate her life in the chapel at 1pm. Burial at Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and are greatly appreciated.
