Peacefully at home in Barrie on July 30th, 2013 with her husband by her side in her 83rd year. Dear mother of Ann Taylor (Dave), Terry Armstrong (Tim), Scott Dermott, Jane Dermott (Ed), and Karen Dermott (John). Predeceased by her sons Randy Dermott and Bill Dermott. Missed by daughter in law Gwen Dermott Ainscough. Survived by her sister Betty Dermott and brothers Jim Breedon and Bill Breedon. Proud Grandma and great Grandma of many. Sadly missed by many in-laws, dear friends and neighbours.
A celebration of Shirley's life will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 12 pm until the time of the service in the chapel at 1:30 pm.
