Smith, Shirley Margaret
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, Shirley Margaret Smith (nee Neil), and rejoice in her reunion with her husband Robert James Kean Smith (1933 – 1985 RCAF). Parted for so long and united in peace. Shirley will be greatly missed by her son Kenneth and his wife Niki Neff (Victoria, BC), daughter Pamela and her husband Darren Vondette, grandchildren Tonie, Tina, Brittney and Courtney, and great-grandchildren Aidan, Arianna, Audrey, Michael and Isabella, and by the many friends that she held so dear to her heart including Martin, Ellen and Chris. The family extends our deepest gratitude and thanks to the staff of IOOF Barrie for their love and caring in making her final years so comfortable. Family and friends will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday September 19th, 2013 from 10am until the time we celebrate her life in the chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Barrie Union Cemetery. If desired donations in Shirley's memory may be made to either the Alzheimer's Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated.
