Peacefully passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Sunday March 2, 2014 with Debbie and Ian by his side, in his 82nd year. Stan, beloved husband of Lina (nee Simon). Loving father of Debbie Borden and loving father-in-law of Ian. Cherished and beloved grandfather of Shayne and Madison. Dear brother of Norma Pringle, Anita Beaudin, Cecile Poirier, Mildred Robichaud, Alvida Mazerolle (deceased), Ernest Mazerolle (deceased), Norman Mazerolle (deceased), Dave Mazerolle, Camille Mazerolle and Gerald Mazerolle. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Paramedics, that attended Stan's home, the RVRHC staff in the Emergency, Critical Care Unit and Cardiac Renal and Dr. Christa Kozanczyn. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Friday from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie, on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10 am.
