It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing on Saturday, December 27th, 2025, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, at the age of 70 years. Loving husband of Karen. Beloved father of Brian (Alyshia) McNellan, Kevin (Michelle) McNellan. Proud Papa of Carter (Emily), Madison (DJ), Jordyn, Colton, Morgan and Arabella. Dear brother of Robert (Janet) McNellan, Jeanette (Ross) McCrea. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth McNellan. Stephen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service will take place on Monday, January 12th, 2026, at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St. Barrie. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow. In memory of Stephen donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
