Passed away on Friday, May 8, 2009 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by his wife Sophie. Loving husband of Rowena. Loved father of Robert (Darlene) and Nancy, and step-father to Arlene Taylor and Bill Vater. Dear grandfather of Ellen, Laura, Robin and Tanya. Step-grandfather to Brad, Barry, Adam, Jennifer and Joshua. Great-grandfather of Bradley and Evan. Survived by his brother Bax and sister Edith. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Friday, May 15th, 2009 from 1 pm until service time at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel.
