Peacefully at home on Thursday October 6, 2011 at the age of 61. Beloved husband and best friend of Angie. Loving father of Stephanie and her husband Mike Lawler. Proud grandpa of Robert and Sarah. Survived by his brothers Barry and Don, and by his sister Tammy. Steve will be fondly remembered by the Peckham family and by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday October 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre or the Hospital for Sick Children.
