Peacefully at home on Thursday November 18, 2010, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Tess and the late Mary E. Royal. Loving father of James (Jay) and his wife Leigh Ann, and Stu and his wife Laura. Proud grandpa of Sarah and Kevin. Dear brother of the late Rev. G. Lockhart Royal. Fondly remembered by Tess's children, Larry (Cookie), Paul (Sandi) and Cathy Brown; grandfather to Julie (Rob) Trevisan and Shawn (Miranda) Brown; great-grandfather to Alessandro and Myranda Trevisan. A Memorial Service will be held at Essa Road Presbyterian Church in Barrie on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre.
