It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of the greatest man with the biggest heart Stuart Mackinnon, on Monday, August 25, 2014. He is survived by his wife Patricia MacKinnon (nee Kerr), his children Sandra (Mike), Donnie, and Dannie, grandchildren Jarod, Emma & Mya. Will be missed by his mother Catharine (Bunny) Mackinnon of Elliot Lake, and father Donald MacKinnon of Minden, his brother Don (Andrea) of Alliston and his Auntie Lynne and Uncle Bill Meacock of Castleton. Predeceased by his brother Brian (Helen) of Toronto. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great friends, co-workers and extended family. Family and friends will be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, September 01, 2014 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice or First Responders would be appreciated by the family.
