Susanna Kish (Anyu) peacefully passed away at home on January 18th, 2021 at the age of 78 years surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of the late John Kish. Loving mother of son John (Jennifer) and daughter Sue (Steve). Adored Grandma of Kristen (Aaron), Justine (Cole), and Tyler. Proud Great-Grandma of Quinn, Cohen and Hadley. Predeceased by her parents Steven and Anna Lebar. Susanna was a member of St. John Vianney Parish, and a generous donator to many charities. Susanna was born in Kapca, Slovenia and moved to Ontario, Canada in 1963 where she taught herself how to read and write in English. She always took great pride in gardening which won her multiple Communities in Bloom awards with the City of Barrie. Over many years, Susanna always provided her family with fresh vegetables and home cooked meals from her expansive garden. As a devout Catholic, Susanna would appreciate donations to St. John Vianney Parish or to the Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family and friends. Farewell Anyu, “When love looks in the mirror, it sees my mothers face”- Unknown.
