Tania Lee Sharpe, age 64, passed peacefully with her family by her side at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, on Friday, January 20th 2022. She will be sadly missed by her partner John Elmes, her daughter, Tasha Sharpe, her mother, Greta Charman, her brother, Ron Sharpe, and her Uncle John & Aunt Deannie McCarthy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and step family.
Tania loved her career at Vitran where she spent over 25 years working hard and building wonderful friendships. She looked forward to going to work everyday because of the special long-lasting friendships she had built over decades. She will be sorrowfully missed by her Vitran family.
Tania was a caring and giving person; she continued that in death through the gift of organ donation. Her decision to donate gave the most precious gift anyone could give, the gift of life, which saved 2 lives that day.
Family & friends are invited to say a final goodbye and celebrate Tania’s life at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 from 12-3 p.m. Words of Remembrance will occur at 12:30 p.m. Donations in Tania’s memory may be made to the St. Michael’s Hospital and are greatly appreciated by the family.
