After a brief and difficult struggle, Alex passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital surrounded by family on Saturday, October 24, 2009. He is survived by is wife Delna, her children Melodie (Sean), Stephen (Mary Ellen), David (Karen) Meredith (Michael) and his children Kymberlee (Danny) and Jim (Kristen). Much loved by his grandchildren Taylor, Justin, Paige, Colin, Liam, Charlotte, Matthew, Ashley, Gianpaolo, Danilo, Zak and Leah. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Janet (Bob) and Rita (Jim), and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street (721-9921) on Monday from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
