Carter, Timothy Alan-
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden death of Timothy Alan Carter on October 15, 2016. Born March 30, 1966, Tim grew up in northern Ontario and spent most of his adult life in Toronto. A graduate of York University, he worked as a film maker, game designer, professor, and tenacious entrepreneur. Deeply missed by mother Laura (predeceased by step-father Ulrich), father Lindsay (Valerie), sisters Carey and Lauren (Jason), nephews Mitchell and Jake, step-brother Daniel, former wife Svetlana, family, colleagues and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, on Sunday, October 23 from 1 to 4 pm. Service at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Building Brighter Futures Fund, Autism Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
