Trevor Shaw David Whealy, 41 of Barrie, Ontario passed suddenly on Friday May 3rd, 2013 at his home. Trevor was born on January 7th, 1972 in Scarborough, Ontario to Gordon and Patricia Whealy. He is survived by his beloved wife Roxanne (nee: Soucy), loving sons Austyn and Christian, his parents Gord and Patricia (Tish), loving brother Gordie and his wife Lorna and theirs sons Kyle and Mitchell, his mother-in-law Carmen and her husband Fred Thoroski, father-in-law Yvon and his wife Denise Soucy, sister-in-law Tania and her husband Martin (Brass) Brassard and their sons Justin and Jeremy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends. Trevor celebrated 20 years of service with United Parcel Service in March, 2013. He was a dedicated hockey coach and respected by parents and players alike. Visitation will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie ON, L4N 4C2 on Tuesday May 7th, 2013 from 1:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 8th at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie ON, L4M 1M7. Reception in the church hall to follow immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Trevor can be made to the MS Society.
