Passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Lander. Loved mother of Donna Muelaner of White Rock, B.C., Joan McMillan of Barrie and John Lander and his wife Deborah of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Marty, Kelly, Lori, Karee, Scott and Courtney, and great-grandchildren Maryssa, Matthew, Kiera, Josh, Jerard, Tyler, Gabereal and Gabrielle. Dear sister of Barbara Arthur and her husband Tom of Hamilton, and the late Eugene Fritz. At Velma’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
