Verlie Elizabeth Cripps (nee Coleman) passed away peacefully (October 7, 2009) in her 86th year, at the Grove Park Home, Barrie, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Cameron Cripps, parents Bill and Irene Coleman, sisters Eva and Belva. Survived by and lovingly remembered by her brother Jim and sister Nettie. Lovingly remembered by son Jim and wife Debbie. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by grandchildren Charity and Relessey. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Long time resident of Tiffin Street in Allendale and happily resided, for the past six years, at Grove Park Home. A very special thanks to Grove Park Home and all the loving and caring staff and volunteers. The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minets Point, Barrie (705) 721-1211 on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 o’clock. If desired, in memoriam donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
