It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Vina Olivia Peacock at her home in Oro Medonte on Sunday April 9th, 2017 in her 82nd year.
Vina is predeceased by her husband William Edward Peacock and her parents Albert and Minnie Frederick. She will be forever missed by her children George (Margaret) Peacock, Monica (Steven) Crawford and Mollie (Dennis) Alford.
Vina was a loving grandmother to Jacklyn and Nicole Peacock, Michelle (Brian) Dempsey, Melanie (Greg) Gianetto, Melissa (Alex) Tracey, William (Harley Wozney) Alford, Michael (Cheyenne Banfield) Alford (Michael predeceased) and Jessica Alford (predeceased).
Vina will be fondly missed by her great grand children Justin, Emma, Tyler D, Alexis, Taylor, Mackenzie, Benjamin, Braylin, Chase, Violet, Gage and Tyler B.
Vina is survived by her sister Gwen Pamenter and predeceased by her siblings Evelyn, Thelma, George, Lillian, Jim, Ruth, Jack, Allan and Eric. Vina will be missed by many nieces and nephews and fondly remembered by Larry Robertson.
The family of the late Vina Peacock would like to thank Dr. J. F. Strangway for his care and compassion to our mom. She looked forward to your visits.
At Vina's request cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to join us for a celebration of her life on Sunday April 23rd, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home at 30 Worsley St. Barrie, ON. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Hospital For Sick Children.
