Passed peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Monday, August 26th, 2019 at the age of 76. beloved husband of Diane Thurlow. Loving father of Tanya Jamieson (Paul) and Tara Grigoriadis (Peter). Cherished grandfather of Pierce, Preston, Zach, Lily and Gibson. Predeceased by his parents Murray and Frances. Will be sadly missed by his brother Bev Thurlow (Linda), his sisters Sherri Sylvester (Al predeceased), Shelley Trace (John), his brother-in-law Jack Phillips (Heather), and a great many friends and colleagues in the community. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Friday, August 30th from 10:30 a.m. until the time we celebrate Bud’s life in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations to Doctors Without Borders or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
