MALLORY, Wilbert Eugene (Wib) Our loving Father and Grandfather passed away peacefully on July 10, 2011 in Parry Sound, Ontario at the age of 87. Predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Vona Ruth (nee Robertson), and only brother, Gerald A. Mallory. “Wib” was the proud father of 5 children, Steve (Joan), Dan (Barbara), Betty Anne, Paul, and Nancy (Rob). Cherished Grandpa to Adam, Justin, Alan (Natalie), Laura, Rachel, Ethan and Kelsey. In 1949, he started Mallory Insurance, Maintaining a general insurance license for 62 years. “Wib” imported the first Skidoo into the Barrie area in 1961 and continued snowmobiling for another 50 years. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed sharing outdoor adventures with his friends and family. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home, (30 Worsley Street at Clapperton) on Thursday July 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday July 15, 2011 visiting from 10 a.m., until the time of service at 11 a.m. Private family interment to take place.
