Wilfred Thomas Egan
1927-2009
Passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 in his 83rd year. Wilfred Egan of Barrie, Ontario. From 1946-1971 was a member of the RCAF as a Safety Technician, and from 1971-1987 worked at Georgian College as a housing and student awards officer. Predeceased by his wife Dora (nee Casey). He will be missed by his son Donald (Christine), and his daughter Janet. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Jean Casey. He was predeceased by his brother Jack and his sister Margaret of Edmonton, Alberta. He will also missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. We wish to express our thanks to Fran, Laurisa, Nicky, Cherlyn and to Dinese and Margaret of the Red Cross. We would also like to thank Dr. Mills and Dr. Irvin for all their help in his care. Friends may be received at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Friday, July 17, 2009 from 2-3 pm. A memorial service will take place in the chapel at 3 pm. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association, or the Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
