Dr. Willard E. Shantz (1945-2014)
Passed away peacefully in his sleep after a short illness on June 6, 2014, in his 69th year. Predeceased by his father Willard G., and survived by his mother, Catherine M. (nee Schwartz) and his brother Bryan, his wife Lorraine (nee Wiebe) and his much loved children Nicole (and husband Julien Lachance) and Jeremy (and wife Christine, nee Valitutti). Willard will be much missed by many loving cousins, and a great number of special friends and acquaintances. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. Later in the summer, there will be a memorial bench dedicated to Willard at Metro Toronto Zoo. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood and/or donating to the charity of your choice.
