William (Bill) Allan O’Brien – It is with great sorrow to have to announce the sudden passing of Bill O’Brien on Saturday July 25th 2009 at his home in Shanty Bay. Born on Feb 20th, 1941, Bill was in his 69th year, much loved by wife Gail, daughter Lori, son David & wife Tonya, brother Eric, sister Jo-Anne, grandchildren Logan & Samuel, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, friends and extended family. Bill was the son of Victor & Irene O’Brien of Oro (deceased), predeceased by brothers Leon and Jim. Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father, friend, successful local businessman, lifetime member of the Oro Lions Club, supporter of good government and avid golfer. Visitation will be Friday July 31, 2009 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm with a Lions Service at 6:30 pm. Service Saturday Aug 1, 2009 at 11 am with 12:30 pm interment at Little Brick Church on Ridge Road and 6th line of Oro followed by reception at St. Thomas Hall located on the 2nd line of Oro in the Village of Shanty Bay.
