Parker, William James “Bill”
After a courageous battle with Cancer, Bill passed away at Hospice Simcoe with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in his 63rd year. Bill leaves behind his wife Madeline and their children Robin (Scott) Celeste of Verona, David Parker-O’Brien of Ft. McMurray, AB, Michelle (Steve) Knowles, Bill Jr. (Kristy) Parker-O'Brien, Tom (Karrie) Parker, Nancy Parker, Rebecca (Andrew) Warden, all of Barrie along with their grandchildren Samantha, Tabatha, Cooper, Cameron, Daniel, Johnathan, Spencer and Baby Warden. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Tom, Terry and Stan (Connie) Parker all of Barrie, Larry (Marilyn) Parker of Peace River, AB and his sister Debbie (Wayne) Lockwood-Parker of Barrie. Bill is predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Nancy (Glen) Parker-McLean. Bill will be fondly remembered by the Reynolds, Sheard, Strank, Tate-O'Brien and Parker families. He will also be missed by his many friends and customers. Visitation will be at the Steckley- Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on Friday September 20, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. and on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm, followed by cremation.
