Passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on July 21st, 2017 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Barbara for 65 years. Treasured by his loving children W. Robert (Loretta), Steven (Monica) and Carolyn (Frank). Remembered and missed by his grandchildren Billy (Kris), Tammy (Mark), Megan (Jon), Colleen (Steve), Luke and special great granddaughter Heather. Survived by his loving sisters Phyllis Robson (late Garnet), Dorothy Coulton (Don) and Gwen Rawlinson. Predeceased by his dear siblings Arnold, Shirley Tulloch (late Jack), twin brother Bob, Barbara Jamison (late Jim Masson), Bruce (Sandra), Marilyn Marie and David. Will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street Barrie, on Friday July 28th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and on Saturday July 29th from 11 am until the time we celebrate William’s life in the Chapel at 12 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Little Brick Church or Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
