Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Trudy for 63 years. Dear father of Wilma Hurtubise (Al), Joanne Dumond (Mike), Bill, Ron (Sylvia) & Shirley Beamish (Dan). Proud Grandpa of Brad, Kevin, Sara, Tina, Brianna, Sawyer, & Sara S. and great-Grandpa of Brooklyn, Bryce & Theo. Always remembered by many family members in Holland. Friends and family will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, on Friday, March 10, 2017 for visitation from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A mass will take place the following day, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. John Vianney Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, starting at 10am. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
