Passed away peacefully on December 10, 2010 in his 73rd year after a courageous battle with a very rare illness. Born in Rycroft, Alberta on February 10, 1938, Bill moved to Toronto when he was young to further his education. He worked as a tool and die maker for over 30 years and retired in 2003 at the age of 65. He built a home in Alcona in 1968, where he resided for 42 years.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Bobbi-Lyn (husband Guy), grand-daughter Amber-Lee, son Russell (wife Jennifer) and special friend Karen Lewis. Close friend of Al and Lynette, Caitlyn and Dylan Sadowy. Also sadly missed by family, friends and neighbours.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, December 18 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation commencing at 1:00 p.m. at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd. (705-721-1211).
