SMITH William Herrieff (Retired R.C.A.F., 1942 – 1970)
Peacefully passed away on September 27, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Marguerite Smith (nee Bailey) of Barrie. Dear father of Robert Herrieff Smith and his wife Joanne of Scarborough, Colleen Janice Bentley (nee Smith) and her husband Steven Bentley of Scarborough. Loving grandfather of David and Cameron Smith and step grandfather of Rachel Bentley. Dear brother of Elizabeth Mitchell of Youngstown, New York, Patricia Kaiser of Sickamoose, B.C. Theresa McLeod of Barrie and the late Thomas Herrieff Smith of Renfrew, Dorothy Smith of Barrie, and Roberta Robertson of Bonfeld, Ontario. Bill will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation.
