Alford, William John Sr. -
Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, on Friday, February 17, 2012 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Betty Bernice Alford (nee Cain) for 53 years. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his children Donna (David), Brian (Noreen), John (Merilee), Barb (Fred), Bill (Elaine) and Dennis (Mollie). He will also be remembered by 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Bill is also predeceased by his parents Henry and Beatrice and also his brother Donald. He will be greatly missed by a great friend Violet Graham of Elmvale.
Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd. on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in Minesing Union Cemetery in the spring.
