Passed peacefully at Victoria Village Manor in Barrie on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Rena (nee Durdle). Honoured father of Rob (the late Debbie), Mark (Karen), Glenna (Deni), the late Bradley and the late Mary-Jo. Cherished grandfather of Sherri-Lynn, Lindsey (Andrew), Sean (Lori-Ann), Matthew, Johnny and Robbie, great grandfather of Marcus, Talon, Isla, Max and the late Madisyn, and great great grandfather of Bentley and Masyn. Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Monday, August 7th, 2017 from 12 pm until the time we celebrate Bill’s life in the Chapel at 1 pm. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
